At ZANGELI, we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction with every purchase. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.
This policy operates in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which remain unaffected by this policy.
2. Returns (Change of Mind)
We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unassembled, and in resalable condition.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all protective materials.
- All parts, accessories, manuals, and fittings must be included.
- Proof of purchase (such as an order confirmation or receipt) is required.
- Customers must notify us of their intention to return the item within the 14-day period.
After notifying us, the item should be returned promptly and, where possible, within 14 days.
3. Return Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs when returning an item due to a change of mind.
- We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as ZANGELI cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
- If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, ZANGELI will cover the reasonable cost of return or arrange a collection.
4. Inspection & Refund Process
- All returned items are inspected upon arrival at our warehouse.
- Once the return is approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Refund Timeline:
- Refunds are processed within 24–48 hours of the returned goods being received and successfully inspected.
- The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Non-Returnable Items
We are unable to accept returns for:
- Items that have been used, assembled, altered, or damaged by the customer.
- Items not returned in their original packaging.
- Bespoke, custom-made, or made-to-order furniture.
- Clearance or final sale items, unless they are faulty.
- Items returned without proof of purchase.
6. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@zangeli.com, providing:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographic evidence of the problem and packaging
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Customers are entitled to a full refund within 30 days if goods are faulty or not as described.
- After 30 days, we may offer a repair or replacement before issuing a refund.
- ZANGELI will cover all reasonable return or collection costs for faulty or incorrect items.
7. Condition of Returned Goods
Returned items must be in a resalable condition. ZANGELI reserves the right to:
- Reject returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
- Apply a reasonable deduction from the refund if the value of the goods has been diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function.
- Refuse refunds where items are missing components or packaging.
8. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before they are dispatched.
- If an order has already been dispatched, it will be treated as a return under this policy.
- For custom or made-to-order items, cancellations may not be possible once production has begun.
9. Refund Method
- All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- We are unable to process refunds to alternative payment methods unless legally required.
10. Fraud Prevention & Optional Protection Clause
To safeguard our business and customers, ZANGELI reserves the right to implement measures to prevent misuse of our returns system. This includes:
- Refusing returns that do not comply with this policy.
- Rejecting returns where there is evidence of misuse, intentional damage, or tampering with the product.
- Requesting additional verification (such as identification or proof of delivery) before processing a refund.
- Declining refunds or future orders in cases of excessive or suspicious return activity.
- Reporting fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities where necessary.
Important:
ZANGELI reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy or where we reasonably suspect abuse of the returns system.
